Terms of service

These terms cover your use of butterblok.co and anything you buy from us. By placing an order you accept them, so please read them.

Who we are. Butterblok is operated by «COMPANY LEGAL NAME - TO BE COMPLETED», a company registered in Hong Kong SAR, company number «REGISTRATION NUMBER - TO BE COMPLETED», registered office Gold Way Industrial Centre, Kwai Chung, New Territories, Hong Kong SAR. In these terms "we", "us" and "our" mean that company. You can reach us at lyuben@butterblok.co.

Orders

Putting something in your basket is not a contract. When you place an order we send an acknowledgement, and a contract only comes into being when we email to confirm the order has been dispatched.

We may decline an order. The usual reasons are that an item is out of stock, that we cannot ship to your address, that we cannot take payment, or that a price was listed in error. If we decline an order after taking payment, we refund it in full.

Pricing mistakes. We try hard to price everything correctly. If we spot an obvious error before dispatch, we will contact you and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund. We will not simply charge you the higher amount.

Prices, currency and tax

Prices are shown in your local currency where we support it, and the currency is stated next to every price. The currency you are charged in is confirmed at checkout before you pay.

Duties and import taxes are collected up front and included in your shipping, so there is nothing further to pay on delivery.

Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is taken when the order is placed. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card details.

Delivery

Delivery estimates are working days from dispatch and are estimates, not guarantees. They can run longer over public holidays, or if customs takes a closer look.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Where you are a consumer, that means when the goods come into your physical possession.

We ship to the countries listed on our Shipping page. If your country is not listed, we cannot take your order.

Returns

Our returns and cancellation terms are set out in our Refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Our products

We photograph our products as accurately as we can, but screens vary and colours can differ slightly from the real thing. Dimensions and capacities are approximate.

We may change the range, the specification or the price of anything we sell, at any time. Changes do not affect orders we have already confirmed.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Acceptable use

Please do not use this site to do anything unlawful, to interfere with how it works, to attempt unauthorised access, or to scrape it at a scale that degrades it for other people. We may suspend access if you do.

Our content

The text, photographs, logo, illustrations and design on this site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may look at them and share links. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that: we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care, and we are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable. Where you are a consumer, we do not exclude any of your statutory rights, and our products are supplied for domestic and private use only, so we are not liable for business losses.

Privacy

How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.
